Planetary Rain-How is it raining on other planets?
When you are asked about rain on other planets, you have every right to immediately remember the water; But you are wrong; Earth is the only planet with liquid water; In fact, there is the phenomenon of rain from the clouds on other planets, but these rains are no longer rain. Not even close to that.

Planetary Rain-Here on Earth, we humans are accustomed to a certain kind of rain, but it is better to look at the material that falls on other planets:

The precipitated methane fills the lakes, the lakes then evaporate, and the steam evaporates again into clouds of methane, and everything starts again. Because the surface temperature of Titan is cold and minus 290 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 179 degrees Celsius, methane on the planet liquefies. Mountains of solid ice can also be seen on Jupiter.

Some phenomena are not possible on our planet Earth at all. You may think to yourself that if something is impossible here on earth, then it is definitely impossible anywhere in the world. But this is not the case at all. The world is so much stranger than anyone can imagine!

Let’s start with the shadows. On earth, your shadow always follows you alone, and in fact, we are accustomed to seeing our shadow one by one, just as we see the shadow of others alone. But this is not something that is like this in the whole universe!

We have a shadow because there is only one main source of light for the earth, the sun. But what happens if we have two suns ?! A planet that, like the planet Tetwin in the Star Wars movie, has two suns, will have two beautiful sunsets every day, and on the other hand, everyone will have two shadows at the same time. In fact, it was just a sci-fi movie, until Kepler 16-B was discovered, a planet that really has two suns!

If, for example, someone becomes a teleporter on the surface of this planet, then he will die of extreme heat and lack of air. But suppose he goes there with a special protective suit, in which case he will see that he is in the shadows at the same time! There, finally, your lonely shadow can find a friend!

The next amazing place is a planet that is completely covered with water, an oceanic planet called GJ12 14-b. The size of this planet is several times the size of the Earth and in fact, the Pacific Ocean in front of it looks more like a pool of water!

70% of the earth’s surface is indeed covered with water, but the volume of the earth’s water is only 0.05% of the total volume of the earth. In other words, if we divide the earth into 2000 parts, only one part of it is water! But of the total volume of the planet GJ12 14-b, 10% is water, which means that the entire planet is covered with an ocean hundreds of kilometers deep. The deepest part of the ocean on earth is only about 11 kilometers deep, but in the depths of the same ocean, there are scary monsters like this or giant whales like this.

As a result, imagine what gigantic and terrifying creatures could exist in the depths of the ocean more than 10 times the depth of our ocean! Who could face such a stunning sight if we landed on this planet with a spacecraft ?!

But what we do know is that in the depths of this vast ocean, hundreds of kilometers below the surface of the water, the water pressure is so high that the waters of the ocean floor form a strange kind of ice called ice 7 in between.

That ice is not like the ice we know on Earth. That ice is not cold at all, but at the same time quite solid. Such ice does not form naturally on Earth, just like the next strange phenomenon I want to talk about.

The weather on Earth is often harsh and unpredictable. But compared to other planets in the world, I am very calm and calm!

Let me give you the example of the planet C.O.R.O.T-7b, where instead of water rain, there is rock rain! The reason for this phenomenon is that half of the planet burns at 2600 degrees Celsius, while the other half is much colder and only 177 degrees Celsius.

The heat of the hot half of the planet is such that it causes rocks and boulders to turn into steam, just as when water evaporates on the ground and forms a cloud in the sky, clouds of gaseous rock form on this planet! These clouds collapse liquid rock or molten material on the planet, but when these clouds move to the cold surface of the planet, the molten rain of these clouds cools in the air and turns into hard rock and hit the surface of the planet hard…

This planet seems to be the most hell-like place in the whole world! But I must say that there is another planet whose climate is more frightening than this!

The planet is known as HD 189 773-b and is located 63 light-years away and is one of the largest Jupiter. This planet looks incredibly beautiful from afar, but behind this beautiful mask lies a terrible secret!

This beautiful appearance is because the planet’s atmosphere is often composed of silicate particles, which are adjacent to the glass. The winds of this planet have an extraordinary speed of 2 kilometers per second, equivalent to 7200 kilometers per hour. That is 7 times the speed of sound. The temperature of this planet reaches 930 degrees Celsius. But the most frightening phenomenon of this place is the glass falling from the sky. Now you can imagine what the hell will happen when these shards of glass are in the path of winds with a speed of 2 kilometers per second! The wind is so strong that if it happens on the ground, it can go around the whole earth in 5 hours and 33 minutes, and despite eating the glass with it, everything in its path will be torn to pieces, even the mountains!

Now it becomes more interesting to say that even this storm is nothing more than a breeze compared to the most severe storm ever detected in the universe!

I’m talking about Hurricanes HD 189 733-b.

This is a gas planet with one side always pointing towards the star or the sun itself, as a result of which the temperature of this part of the planet reaches 966 degrees Celsius. But the dark half of the planet is also extremely hot and the temperature reaches 688 degrees Celsius. So… how can a half that never sees the sun be so hot ?!

The answer is very strong winds of this type, which probably reach speeds of 10 kilometers per second, equivalent to 36,000 kilometers per hour. That is almost 29 times the speed of sound!

To understand this, you need to know that the speed of the strongest recorded Earth storm in 1999 in Oklahoma was only 484 kilometers per hour, 73 times slower than the storms of this violent planet.

For example, if someone with a kite is in the path of this wind and, assuming that it does not disintegrate in a fraction of a second, he can go around the whole earth in 1 hour and 8 minutes!

But perhaps the most amazing place in our neighborhood, this place called Titan, is actually a lunar eclipse.

The moon’s atmosphere is so dense that we could not see its surface until 2005. If you are curious, you can see its surface. But Titan is a very unusual place! The moon has an atmosphere, a river, a lake, and even rain. Just like the earth. But it has a bone breaker temperature of minus 179 degrees Celsius. At this temperature, water hardly hardens and methane liquefies.

All the clouds, rivers, and lakes on this moon are made of methane, which is the main constituent of natural gas.

Humans have so far only been able to study 20% of Titan’s surface, but in this small fraction, the volume of methane and oil is hundreds of times greater than all the methane and oil found on Earth.

Titan has so much natural gas that it literally rains from the sky, which means methane rain! This is the paradise of oil traders! And this is probably the best motivation to travel to this moon!

But strangest of all, theoretically you could probably fly in Titan!

The atmosphere of this moon is very dense and its gravity is weak enough that if you attach a pair of wings to your hands and jump in the air with a jump, you can fly in the air just like a bird and see the scenery, rivers. And enjoy the lakes.

Well, of course, to enjoy, you will definitely need some kind of protective clothing, so that you can fly in the sky like your dreams and experience something impossible on our own earth.
